Greenside Animal Hospital - Your preferred veterinary practice

We took our very sick rabbit to this vet as an emergency. He was falling over and couldn’t walk. He didn’t x-ray him to see if he had a broken back, he didn’t treat for EC which is a very serious virus affecting rabbits with these symptoms. He gave him an anti inflammatory, sent him home and said we’ll see if he survives. He even said he was a female and couldn’t tell the difference between a female and desexed male rabbit. He could’ve referred us to an exotic vet but didn’t. We then rushed him to an exotic vet who hospitalized him and saved his life. This vet knows nothing about rabbits and I would avoid for any animal after this experience. He would’ve died slowly in pain with his advice. Really poor!

Very professional team, super clean space and very helpful staff

Our cat had been "fainting" and this time it was after hours so we went to GAH. The vet was great, he picked up a heart murmur. Although the news wasn't great at least now we could investigate further. Previous vet visits (at another vet were expensive due to blood tests but showed no results of what was wrong. The vet at the other practice said it could be anxiety. Which is strange cos if I Google fainting cat one of the first results is heart problems! Also you can hear a murmur). The receptionists were so loving and kind to us as well. The practice is spotless and professional.

Greenside Animal Hospital is a fantastic facility. They treated our dog, who unfortunately had a congenital condition. The facility is very well taken care of, and the staff was incredibly friendly and VERY communicative. Dr. Olivia called me twice a day to provide updates. Dr. Joubert, the owner, also came to speak to me and laid out their plans to help my dog. 5 star service and I always felt that my boy was very well looked after.

Simply the best! They have been caring for our pets for years. Always give sound advice and different treatment options. Receptionists are friendly and always follows up after visits. They really go the extra mile!

The vets and all the assistants and admin staff at Greenside Animal Hospital are phenomenal. Our dog was bitten by a night adder outside of town on a Sunday, and we phoned their emergency number. Dr Suzette was able to meet us there and treat him quickly. He ended up staying for more than a week as they nursed him back to health. Between her and all the other vets, they took such good care of him and were so compassionate towards him and us. I'm not sure he would have survived if they hadn't treated him so well and kept such a close eye on him. Thank you to everyone on the team for being so professional, supportive and knowledgeable!
