Le Pawtique Pet Spa & Shop

Really tried to support this place due to good location and wanting a premium experience for our dogs, but honestly disappointed. Basics like cutting a dog’s nails shouldn’t be a "nice to have". Now our dog has an infected toe nail from not having it trimmed during her grooming sessions. Furthermore trimming and cleaning a dog’s ears especially one with longer ears should be part and parcel of a "premium" groom especially at R800, but alas this also did not occur leading to our poor dog having knots in her ears which are now bordering on infection. (Pictures attached of the attempt of self cleaning her ears). Also, don’t charge me extra for a "matted" dog and then send them back with gaps where supposed knots were. If I wanted a groom full of gaps I would do it myself. Paying this price makes sense if you have the right dog i.e. one with no hair close to their ears (ideally hairless) or the immense privilege of having nails that don’t need trimming. In that case your dog will have a proper premium experience. 💪

I have three poodles and it isn’t easy to find a parlour that can actually do a decent job on poodle styling. La Pawtique are fantastic!! More importantly though, I know that my babies are loved and safe when they’re in the shop! Hygiene is also hugely important and La Pawtique definitely don’t fall short in that regard. Thank you for brilliant service and for always making my babies feel beautiful!

First time taking my border collie to a groomer and I must say they did a fantastic job. Kept the cut standard to breed but cleaned him up so nicely and quickly! Fantastic service too

I’ve tired many different parlours over the years, and none has treated them with so much care and compassion the way LePawtique has We have a very difficult recuse pup and they manage to wash and cut his nails with no worries at all. I’m so happy with the service and staff🖤

First time I have used Le Pawtique, and a great experience ! personalised caring service - Duke, my toy poodle loves his new look, so dapper and coat is shining

The best dog parlour in Joburg 🙌 such a loving team and really good at what they do! I love that the dogs don’t wait for hours, they go in for their appointment and you can fetch immediately after- no anxious dogs waiting in cages and sitting around all day. Bailey always looks 11/10 after her appointments, highly highly recommended them

Our two dogs look forward to their monthly visit. Le Pawtique are amazing, I would recommend them to all dog lovers!
