Had a very bad experience with them... I purchased the 3x bar chairs together with the table set as shown below on the picture, On the day of purchase I only collected the table set and I was told that I'll have to come back on the following day to collect the 3 chairs because the store was closing and the chairs were very far. When I got home, after unboxing the table set I found out that they gave me the wrong table set and when I went back on the following day I was told that both items (table set and bar chairs) have got the wrong price tag and I'll to pay the difference, I decided to go for refund option instead of paying the difference After few days I decided to go back to buy only the 3x bar chairs, when I was at home after the purchase trying to assemble the chairs I found out that a lot of items/accessories were missing ,I had to go back for about 2 more times still without getting everything that i needed, I ended up buying the other missing bolts&nuts from the the hardware near me

Absolute worst experience, called the day before to confirm if there is stock on a item even though the site is also showing stock, asked the store to confirm this on the floor and they confirmed it, drove 30km to the shop between night shifts just to find out the shop does not have the product in stock, their resolution...."sorry neh". It cost R249 I wanted two which is R498 in total free shipping is R500 or above, my resolution was asking them can't you provide free shipping and then send the product to me as this is your mistake and it would be R2, they refused.... R2 to help you customers after you made a mistake and you could have had a way different review stating how you helped, but rarther you decided your business name is not worth R2..... Good day, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding a refrigerator purchased from Builders Warehouse on 24 October 2025. From the first week after receiving the appliance, it was evident that the fridge was faulty, as it consistently built up excessive ice and did not function as intended. I contacted your after-sales department multiple times to request an exchange, as the product was clearly defective straight out of the box. Despite following the correct procedures and allowing reasonable time for resolution, no satisfactory action was taken. After a prolonged process, we eventually received a second "new" replacement fridge, only to discover that it presented exactly the same fault as the first unit. A technician subsequently confirmed that the issue is a faulty thermostat. Once again, I made it clear that I did not purchase a brand-new product with the expectation that components would need to be repaired or replaced. I purchased a new appliance, and I expect a fully functional one. At this point, the situation has been ongoing for an unreasonable length of time, and the continued delays and lack of resolution are unacceptable. This experience reflects poorly on Builders Warehouse’s after-sales service and raises serious concerns about quality control and customer care. Your store policies should reflect confidence in the products you sell and provide customers with peace of mind when a product is faulty upon delivery. I am formally requesting a proper replacement with a fully functional new fridge or a full refund, without further delays. I trust this matter will now be handled with the urgency and professionalism it warrants. I look forward to your prompt response and a final resolution. Riaan La Grange

Poor service, que long, only one person assisting whilst other teller calls people she chooses to the front. When leaving the staff checking slips are doing so without any enthusiasm and sighs about having to check the 2 items I bought. Assisting staff extremely poor in assisting with anything, will never return.

Placed an order online for a bath, shower screen and bricks. Order was placed on Monday, got a call early Wednesday morning asking if it was convenient to deliver that day. I have ordered online before and had the service and delivery was excellent! Thank you very much!!

Some of the workers don't give out a welcoming service. For instance this one worker chose to help the person who worked after me but in the it's an alright place. It has most of the household things that we might need. They must just treat people equally

Got excellent 👌 service and I was in and out with utter satisfaction especially the first time when Moeketsi assisted me in getting what I urgently needed.
