Great place to chill. Food is amazing. Nursery has a plethora of plant collections. Update : Bought a plant called "Desert Rose" It was pretty looking and bought 3 of it for 100R each. One of my cats sniffed and ate a leaf and immediately fell sick foaming and throwing up. Found out online that it was a poisonous plant both for pets and for humans. There were no warnings posted about the plant and when asked about it to the employees they denied to acknowledge their mistake 'atleast to post a warning' saying its poisonous but they just kept saying they don't sell any poisonous plants. Just read up about the plants you buy, especially if you have pets or kids at home.

I don't know how many times I have been to Magic Lawns and I can never get enough of the place! This is my favourite place of all time! I take all my friends there, my kids, and I go there when I just want to reset.

Such a family friendly place. Beautiful plants and gardening equipment. A lovely little playground for young children. And an excellent restaurant where the food was marvelous. Friendly staff and such a welcoming atmosphere it almost feels like a holiday resort so calming. We got visited by some chickens with their chicks and some peacocks and peahens. Such a popular spot with families. So many people coming in and out a magical little spot. Thank you to Bennett our waitor who was so warm and friendly.

Our 1st visit to this beautiful nursery, filled with a wide variety of plants and decor items. Well priced. Friendly staff. Love the fact that there are animals too. Peacocks and chicken hens with their chicks walking around. Well kept grounds. The At My Table coffee shop is a bonus. Well worth the drive from Johannesburg.

Magic Garden Centre is the perfect break away from all the stresses and worries of city life. This little piece of paradise offers a huge selection of plants, implements, pots and garden accessories for the novice all the way to the expert and everyone in between... Their prices are affordable, but I would advise you to go there with some wiggle room in your budget, as you surely will be tempted. A bonus and "Have to visit" is the wonderful "at my table" restaurant inside the centre and they cater to those looking for a quick bite to those looking to stay a while and catch-up... A must-try is their Frulattas!!! The management and staff are super friendly and the amount of regulars shows just how excellent the restaurant is!!

I was Absolutely horrified at the service provided. Two weeks ago I spent R400 on the black seedling / plant bags This week another R300 When I walked in a customer asked for 2 different plants. The cashier or front desk asked an employee by the name of Anna if the plants were in stock, Anna without getting up from sitting by the window said no, the customer tried to explain the plant, when I commented that she should Google the plant and show what she wanted, Anna again never attempted to stand up and told the customer 'yes Google it and show me' My turn was next, I went to the pigeon hole where the different sized bags are kept, the large bags that I previously purchased were tidily packed and so were the next two sizes, the top wrack was in a mess, I read what I thought I was taking and took 3 different sizes to the front desk, I told the woman that my son has given me R300 if she would let me know what the cost of what I selected would be, she did, I questioned the smallest bag price as I had taken 250 of that bag size from the top untidy shelf and I read it as a different price, not much less but different. I stated this which the cashier asked Anna. In the meantime I walked towards the pigeon hole where I took the bags, Anna was told to follow and confirm my statement. This turned very ugly, I was told by Anna in an aggressive manner to open my eyes, read the sticker on a bag pinned to the locker and if I wasn't sure I should have measured this. I in turn and just as loud told her to look how messy the shelf was, that if she had no customer service etiquette then she should not deal with customers and if it were her job to ensure customers new her system they wouldn't have asked in the first place. She had no manners for the customer before me and she certainly was very rude with me. All because she didn't want to work she wanted to sit by the window waiting to knock off. Very disappointed in Magic Gardens acceptance of the behaviour of their staff
