I recently brought my dog, Nova, to Animal Matters, and I couldn’t be happier with the care we received. Dr. Rebecca Allsopp and Sister Danica were absolutely wonderful — professional, kind, and incredibly compassionate. From the moment we arrived, Nova was treated with patience and gentleness, which really helped her feel I can’t thank Dr. Rebecca Allsopp, Sister Danica, and the wonderful team at Animal Matters enough for the incredible care they gave to my dog, Nova. From the moment we walked in, we were met with such kindness, compassion, and genuine love for animals. Dr. Allsopp was gentle, thorough, and took the time to explain everything so clearly, making sure Nova and I were both comfortable throughout the visit. Sister Danica’s warmth and calm presence made a huge difference — Nova trusted her right away, which says so much! It’s rare to find a team that not only provides excellent medical care but also treats every animal like their own. The clinic feels welcoming and full of heart, and it’s clear everyone there truly cares. I’m so deeply grateful for the patience, empathy, and dedication shown to Nova. Their medical knowledge and expertise are outstanding — but what touched me most was their genuine love for animals and the kindness they showed during such a difficult time. They always answered my calls and offered advice, even when I didn’t have an appointment and I’ll always be grateful for the gentle way they handled everything. Dr Angelique is great with large dogs, especially Great Danes. She’s been able to cure Viking’s irritable stomach after too many attempts by other vets. I’m so pleased she was recommended.

What a wonderful experience. Animal Matters was the only veterinary clinic to answer the after hour contact number. They are friendly, caring, and loving. We immediately felt comfortable and reassured, leaving our poor, sick doggy with them overnight. When we went to pick her up the next morning, Pantoufle was her old bright eyed, bushy tailed VERY energetic self. Thank you just doesn't quite cut it.

It's small, neatly set out and we'll run. Been through the "run-of-the-mill", and now I've found an operation close to home and accessible. Also in a safe controlled area. Great, professional!

Honestly had a bad EMERGENCY experience. A phone call is more important than a dog suffering. I understand it was after hours but my dog was in a lot of pain for nearly an hour before he was put down.
