Dr Jackie Terblanche, I genuinely cannot express how incredible my experience was with this vet. She is one of the most attentive, patient, and compassionate professionals I’ve ever dealt with. From the start, she took the time to listen to every concern I had about my puppy — not just the "big" things, but all the little behaviours and questions too. Not once did I feel rushed or like she was watching the clock. She made me feel like my puppy and I were her only priority. What really stood out was how hands-on and observant she was. She actually let my puppy run around the room so she could see her natural behaviour first-hand instead of relying only on what I described. That alone shows her dedication to understanding each animal individually. When it came to products and treatments, she was incredibly honest and thoughtful. She mentioned a few items that were on the pricier side, but instead of pushing me to buy anything, she lent me her own personal products to try first. In the vet world, this is practically unheard of. It showed a level of integrity, care, and trust that truly blew me away. She also explained everything in such a thorough, practical way — with examples, background information, photos, and real-life scenarios. She didn’t just tell me what to do; she made sure I understood the "why," which helped me feel confident and prepared as a new puppy owner. Her compassion, knowledge, and patience are unmatched. She went above and beyond in every single aspect of our consultation. I left feeling supported, reassured, and incredibly grateful to have found someone who cares this deeply. I have to give a special shout-out to Ryan at reception — he is honestly one of the kindest, most compassionate people I’ve ever encountered at a vet practice. From the moment I walked in, he made both me and my puppy feel completely welcome. My puppy was overwhelmed and crying, and Ryan didn’t hesitate for a second — he gently held her, comforted her, and helped calm her down with so much care and patience. It wasn’t just "doing his job"; it was genuine kindness. While I was waiting for the vet, he took the time to actually talk to me and give me advice, answering questions and making sure I felt supported the whole time. He didn’t rush the conversation or make me feel like I was inconveniencing him — he truly made the experience feel personal and warm. People like Ryan make such a big difference, especially when you’re stressed or worried about your pet. His compassion, friendliness, and calming presence set the tone for the entire visit. He is such an asset to the practice, and I’m incredibly grateful for the way he looked after us. If you’re looking for a vet practice where the staff genuinely care, Ryan is living proof of that. Our cat Ash had a minor procedure for a wound, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. Both the doctor and support staff were highly professional and caring. What really impressed me was receiving a follow-up call from Ryan the next day, checking on Ash's recovery and offering support for any post-op concerns. If your four-legged family member needs care, this is definitely the place to be. Thank you for taking care of Ash, and for the amazing experience.

The staff at Belmont Vets are all the most amazing and Caring Team.. my crazy Jack Russel Pippa had internal bleeding and we were about to go overseas.. the care, support and compassion was just incredible..thank you all so very much .. my Pippa is bouncing around and is such a joy in my life. Good service, knowledgeable staff who handle pets with confidence. Nothing to complain about apart from maybe parking being at a bit of a premium on the small premises.

Easy to make a booking and the staff were friendly and very much competent. I would take my fur baby to this vet again.

We didn't know they existed, but were so glad we got referred to them. Had an emergency visit with our cat who needed stitches. They were so very friendly and accommodating, and took the time to explain what was wrong, what was needed, and welcomed any calls or questions upon discharge. Will definitely go back there again 🙂
