I couldn't recommend Dr Coetzee more - the compassion, understanding, and care that he provides for animals is unparalleled. We've been visiting CARE for 3 years and have received excellent service every time. I know some claim that they are a bit pricier than other vets, but honestly you're paying for the quality of care and knowledge. We've had terrible experiences with other vets who claim to be able to treat rabbits, Dr Coetzee is the real deal who treats our furkids with love and care and is always happy to indulge my helicopter mom-style questions and concerns. After vet appointments, we've also received check in messages to see how our buns are doing. We are so endlessly thankful to Dr Coetzee and his team for their kindness and professionality, and we couldn't recommend the practice more.

I cannot put into words how much appreciation I have for the Dr. and the staff at CARE. I have been there a few times and when I leave my feather babies there I know they are in the best possible hand. The Dr. is so knowledgeable and we are so lucky to have a Dr. with his talent and expertise. I would highly recommend Dr Coetzee for all your exotic pets. We’ve been with him for a few years, and he’s a fantastic vet. His expertise and advice go a long way, and it’s clear he has a deep love for all animals. We stay about 40 minutes away from CARE, but it’s well worth the drive to make sure our parrot gets the best care possible when needed. It’s always a pleasure visiting CARE, as Dr Coetzee and his staff are friendly and very helpful.

Coetzee de Beer is the most knowledgeable and amazing exotic vet that I have come across. Always doing his absolute best with compassion and love. I know that my bunnies are in the best of hands Thank you Coetzee for always being there.

I cannot recommend Dr Coetzee de Beer highly enough. We trust him 100% to do his best for our bunnies. He is always willing to help with advice, and his care and compassion is so helpful and appreciated in stressful times when dealing with a seriously-ill bunny. CARE is over an hour away from us, but we are happy to do the drive knowing that our bunnies will get the best care available. I am a small animal vet, but for my own exotic pets I prefer to take them to an exotics vet. The service and visible love and care they receive at CARE is of the highest standard. I would highly recommend them.
