Gardens Vet and Spa

I was truly impressed. The office and spa are tucked away in the parking area of the Garden Centre and appear quite modest on arrival. However, once you step inside, you are met with an exceptional level of kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. The veterinary doctors are highly skilled, and nothing seems to escape their attention. What stood out most to me was their obvious tenderness and love for animals. My cat, who is usually very anxious, was surprisingly calm and comfortable in their hands—a testament to their approach and expertise. I am absolutely thrilled to have found this practice. Knowing that my cat—and I—are in such good hands is incredibly reassuring. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my pet.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! I was in complete panic mode when I saw my cat was limping after he was lost. They were so friendly and squeezed me in as they were about to close. They were super caring and very gentle. Dr Candice Cooper was so lovely and kind and really treated my fur baby and me with such care. I would highly recommend them for routine check ins, emergencies and everything in between.

I could not recommend Dr Candice and her whole team enough. The compassion and kindness they all showed our fur baby (as well as us humans) was so comforting during our difficult time. Everyone was so hands-on, we frequently received check-in phone calls, and everything was explained so thoroughly. They really go the extra mile for both you and your fur child. We are so grateful that our little boy had such a remarkable team 🙂

Our vet was super friendly and they seemed to know what they’re doing. I felt confident speaking to them. However after spending almost R9,000 for a procedure, they completely missed a critical diagnosis and didn’t follow up with lab results. Our dog is now in a critical condition and we’ve had to have a late night emergency visit to a vet that actually knows what they’re talking about. I’d take a rude competent vet over a nice one that risks my dogs life any day. So we won’t be coming back here. Update: our dog is fine now, after R30k and 3 weeks in the animal hospital. Update 2: Since posting this review I'd had a number of people reach out to me via social media with similar stories with their pets.

Brought my puppy here to get her vaccinated and spayed. The staff was really nice and we got a care package with clear instructions when we picked her up.

We love taking our eleven year old ridgeback to Gardens Pet Clinic and Spa- and have been doing so for a long long time, because we know she receives the care, love, and treatment she needs in a way which is gentle and hassle-free. Dr Candice and her team is always welcoming, patient and open to answering all our questions. And we know we get insight, treatment and advice we can trust. Cannot recommend them enough 🙂

I cannot recommend the Gardens Pet Clinic & Spa enough. I have used both the vet and grooming facilities and both are top tier! The doctors and staff are all so friendly and knowledgable and really go the extra mile for their clients. Dr Sarah in particular has been an absolute star when it comes to dealing with my cats and all of my questions and concerns. Your pets will be very well taken care of here!
