TAH Green Point

We recently went through a very stressful few weeks with our pug, George, who needed surgery to remove a growth on his leg. Shortly afterwards, the team also discovered a corneal ulcer in his eye — which meant even more treatment and careful monitoring. What stood out to us throughout was not just the medical care (which was excellent!), but the genuine compassion shown by every single person at TAH Greenpoint. From the vets, to the nurses, the assistants, and the reception staff — everyone treated George as if he were their own. They patiently guided us through every step, reassured us when we were worried, and even accommodated us by administering his eye drops four times a day for two weeks. That level of kindness and support meant more to us than we can properly put into words. You can feel that this is not "just a veterinary practice"; it is a team of people who truly love animals and care deeply about the families who bring them in. George is doing wonderfully now, and we are incredibly grateful. Thank you for your time, your empathy, and your gentle care. If anyone is looking for a vet they can completely trust with their pet, we wholeheartedly and confidently recommend the TAH Greenpoint team.

I cannot recommend Dr Luke highly enough. From the moment we walked in, he was kind, compassionate, and incredibly knowledgeable. It’s clear he genuinely cares about both his patients and their owners. My dog is very fearful, and he was so gentle and patient with her, taking his time and moving at her pace to ensure she felt safe and comfortable. He listened carefully to all my concerns, answered every question, and explained everything clearly without ever making us feel rushed. If you’re looking for a vet who combines expertise with genuine compassion and interest, Dr Luke is absolutely the best.

The secretary was absolutely aweful made me feel terrible and I was really worried about my dogs made me feel like my dogs were not valued or important or concern or as sick as other dogs even though her stool was black and she had been vomiting for 4 days, I had a booked appointment but was made to wait and others were put in front of me as emergencies, i come all the way from Milnerton and have a 1 year old child so it’s not easy for me to come to the vets with 2 sick dogs and a baby, I managed to get someone to look after my baby while I came to the vets but was then told I would have too wait with no idea as to how long I would need to wait so I couldn’t inform anyone back home how long I would be as the pre arranged estimated time was gone. This visit made me so angry and so sad. Dr Cathy and dr Luke have always done an amazing job for us and been really kind but I will never come back here again after the way the secretary treated us!!!!

Tah Green Point is brilliant. Cathy and Luke are amazing and sensitive vets. Special service always. I’ll never go anywhere else. Special shout out to Luke for being a kind and caring vet!!!

Cathy, Anke, Helen and everyone at TAH Greenpoint went above and beyond in the care of our beautiful labrador in her golden years. They were kind, compassionate, professional and made sure that her crossing over was very peaceful. We are so grateful as a family for the comfort this has brought. Terrible money hungry place! Caused a puppy to have an allergic reaction to the drip they gave him, kept him over night due to their mistakes. Lied about paying the deposit, and then said R7.5k just to give him antibiotics??? Don’t call back with updates on pets. If anyone actively cares about their pets DO NOT - I REPEAT - DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE.

They are not the closest vet to me, but I will go out of my way to drive the extra miles due to their great service and care! Thank you to all the staff!
