My 10-year-old Chihuahua, Marcela had to go in for a life-threatening surgery and it was honestly one of the scariest things I’ve ever gone through. From the very start, Dr Akram Kader was incredible. He was calm, gentle, and so professional, and he really took the time to explain everything to me and make sure I understood what was happening. You could tell how much he truly cares, not just about the animals but about the people who love them too. I also want to give a huge thank you to Deana (Sorry for the incorrect spelling) and the reception team. I was calling all the time because I was so worried, and they were never impatient or dismissive. Deana was especially kind and reassuring and always made me feel heard and supported. That meant more than I can say during such a stressful time. The whole team made a really terrifying situation feel manageable, and I am so grateful for the care my baby received. I honestly couldn’t have asked for better people to look after her. I would recommend them without hesitation. 🐶💛

Yesterday, I received the most heartwarming letter from Dr Akram Kader. So many times, I wanted to call him and share this with him. My kitty was my comfort in the darkest of times, she was always right beside me. She truly was a very special cat. Dr Kader felt / shared my pain when Misty gave her last breath. He treated my kitty with so much care. He turned my grieving process into a very special memory, that I will cherish forever.. I truly hope he never changes his carreer. Thank you for being who you are, Dr Kader. Thank you for the beautiful memory.. Florida Vetenary Hospital have always proved themselves to be the best in the Westrand! All my animals, have always been treated by them. Highly recommended!

Dear Florida Veterinary Hospital, Thank you for the wonderful compassion and support you provided to our family during this time with the passing of our dear Zeus. Zeus was a pillar, a true giant in our family for the past 16 years and 4 months. And you made his final moments safe and peaceful. Words will never be able to convey our thanks.

I love Florida Vet, Dr Akram Kader specifically is amazing with our babies, but the accounts dept. REALLY gets my blood boiling. Incorrect statements, no responses, can't get hold of anyone. I will probably have to print all my statements for the past year and go in myself to sort it out. It's really annoying! I'm torn between 2 stars and 3 stars, but Dr Akram Kader deserves the extra star.

We took our female dog in as we thought it was an emergency. On Sunday morning the doctor called to say that we have no choice but to put our dog down, this was due to a blood protein issue. He could've advise us to go to another facility that could administer a blood transfusion. But know he insisted to put our pet down. So furious and heart broken, I will never use Florida Vet hospital again 💔

A massive thank you to Dr Elshove and staff for assisting me with an emergency Saturday 6 September. Doctors and staff very helpful and super friendly! Guido was looked after very well and even after he was released , the service I received was top notch!

Best care for many years. I appreciate the initial conservative approach in solving a medical issue. I also appreciate that the vets and nurses do patiently explain what the treatments are for and how they work. The way my pets have been handled by all the staff is excellent.
