Bootlegger Two Oceans Aquarium

Amazing location. Food quality is not up to usual bootleggers standard. Service was very poor. Stood around waiting to be seated. Had to walk to kitchen to tell them I've seated myself and to bring menus. Brought a single menu and no kids menus when they clearly saw kids, didn't clean the table, took food to the wrong tables. Table next to us sat dirty for 40 mins. Birds had a feast of leftovers. Just really really bad service and management. What a great location to waste.

We sat at the bar table by the window and the view was absolutely stunning! The burger menu was delicious and had nice options. The restroom cleanliness was average, but the overall atmosphere made up for it. Definitely worth it for the view alone!

Always have a good coffee at Bootlegger pop up kiosk inside the V&A mall. Coffee all sizes before 9am is R29. Christwish the barista always has a smile on her face and makes the best coffee for our construction guys in the morning.

One thing that I really liked is that they serve breakfast menu throughout the whole day! 😉 I tried their burger without bun and found the patty a bit too try for my taste. I also tried the chicken strips and they were perfect, crispy on the outside and tender inside just as i love them! Much appreciate the service and the staffs were very friendly!

I went to Bootleggers today with my colleagues. We were there at about 9h40 and the place wasn’t that busy. We ordered our drink and when they arrived they were not piping hot but more warm. However I did enjoy my chai latte. We ordered our foods, which came out at a decent time. The buttermilk flapjacks was not a hit. It was too thick, floury and so little golden syrup. Definitely not light and fluffy as you would expect. Also got the cheese and tomato sandwich, which was average. I also ordered chips on the side, some were very over done. Having ordered chips no one offers you sauce, which most places do especially if it’s not on the table. Eventually they bring the sauce in a gravy jug when asked. The croissant breakfast rolls were good and enjoyable. They were a decent size and filling. My experience was not excellent. But I would like to return and give Bootleggers another chance to redeem themselves.

we ordered two coffees. one coffee was very tasty, the other was absolutely sour. the conclusion is either the coffee was made by different baristas and then the taste depends on the person, or one barista does not know how to make consistent coffee. overall it is very cozy here, the staff is polite and friendly
