Hillfox Pet Kingdom

Bought fish from this pet shop a few years ago and within two weeks al the fish died. A few weeks ago I decided to give them another chance even bough a new tank from them. I spent over R 6k on fish and a tank just for all the fish to die within three to four days after purchasing the fish. I was also advised that the species I chose can live together but they started fighting and fin nipping each other. I went back and bought the water treatment drops they advised and left the tank for two weeks and went back to buy more fish again just to see them die again. I bought fish again and a day after the purchase the fish bought had white spot disease. On my last visit I noticed dead fish in their tanks. Every time I purchase fish from them they die within a week and when I add the water from the bags that the fish are in and test my water the nitrate levels are extremely high leaving me to do several water changes and adding drops to get the water right again.

real nice animals for potential pets here. really difficult to not return home with unplanned companions of bird, reptile and fish varieties and extra stuff for all of them. excellent range of related products. the dude who helped us was just as passionate about the animals as we are and knew his stuff.

PS: He is the last man standing of 6 dogs we've had in 30 years average age 11 ..We are truly blessed to have this luxury of pets..

Good selection of birds, rabbits, mice, rats, fish and even stick insects. Some of the advice we got was outdated, but we managed to make a 7 year old happy for his birthday.

Everytime I go here I get exceptional service. They know what they are doing. All the animals are well taken care of. I will definitely be going back!!

Great place. Pets seem to all be well taken care of, they have a good variety of reptile and arachnids. The staff is friendly and very helpful, knowledgeable and understanding of customers needs. I will soon buy my own Iguana from them
