If I could give zero starts I could. Same story, different scammed customer. I wish I read reviews, before I supported this "business". Their basic MO seems to be offering products that are not in stock and that can not be procured anymore. Then it takes MONTHS to get a refund processed - if you are lucky! In my case it has now been 3 months of broken promises and I am still out of pocket. I communicated with the owner on WhatsApp and have been repeatedly promised that I would get my refund "immediately" and "by the next business day". At what point can I start calling this theft?! Guess I will find out now as I am handing this over to lawyers, as I am fed up and desperate. FOR GOD SAKE, DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE. DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR MONEY!

UPDATE: Following my review the owner of PetGeez did reach out and apologise for the delay and radio silence. I was offered a voucher for the inconvenience and that subsequent order has been delivered. Thank you PetGeez for stepping up and rectifying the situation. ______________________________________________________________ At this point I would give no stars but that isn't an option. I placed my order for a cat carrier and some wet food on 05 November 2024. I received an order confirmation email shortly after. I followed up on my order on Whatsapp on 11 November because no further communication was supplied. I did receive feedback shortly after informing me that they didn't have stock of the cat carrier and I can either get a refund or wait until stock came in the following week. I opted to wait for the stock. Big mistake! Since that exchange I have reached out three more times with no reply. I requested a refund on Friday, 29 November 2024. I still have received no feedback nor refund. (attached are screenshots of the correspondence on Whatsapp) DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!!

What a pleasure, they went way out of their way to assist with a delivery, much appreciated, our dogs have their food and thank you to the team at PetGeez, definitely recommended. Our first purchase from them and we are delighted to say, we will be buying from them regularly in future, service these days is a very difficult thing to find and they have certainly offered this.... My experience with PetGeez was very bad. I placed an order and it reflected on their order tracking portal as ‘currently processing’ for 6 month! Eventually I asked them to fulfil my order immediately or refund (R1674). They said they didn’t have stock so I asked for a refund. They said they would. But it took 3 different attempts over almost a month to do the refund. The first one ‘bounced’ and I had to get in touch with PetGeez’s bank Bidvest, the second one didn’t come through either then finally the third one did. I’ve never not been able to transfer money between banks before – something very much does not seem normal. I was always the one following up. Allowing a customers order to sit ‘processing’ for 6 months without taking action is very strange. I don’t think this company is serious.

I ordered 2 cat carriers in December 2024. After waiting longer than a week, I phoned to follow up on my order. I was told that there was no stock. The owner then managed to get me 1 carrier, which was delivered to me. I told him to take delivery fee off my item i received as my initial order would have been free delivery. But because it cost him money to send 1 item to me, i felt it was my duty to pay delivery, even though it should have been free IF i received both items. However, the difference is due to me as a refund (for the second item, not received, less delivery charge). I have been following up constantly by either trying to phone, and by whatsapping since December, trying to get my refund of R499. He did promise to sort it out and pay monday. But it is now 6 Mondays later, and I am still waiting for my refund. I don’t get any feedback, any reply or any call back. The owner is ghosting me. Next i will be reverting to TikTok, Hallo Peter, Facebook, Google, the bank and any and all other places i can to warn people NOT to do business with Pet Geez.

If I could give them a zero I would. This is not a business, it’s a scam. I returned an item and requested a refund for an order of over R750 in the beginning of September and have been waiting/begging for my money ever since. The only way to communicate with them is messages over WhatsApp, most of the time they don’t reply but when they eventually do, it’s empty promises of payment being loaded which never materialises. Do not buy from them! They apologise and promise refund in the reply but they are just lies again!
